Nothing Better to do

Not too long ago was one of my roommate's birthday. So when she was at work my other roommates+Rob went to the dollar store to get some presents. We saw these funny hats and just had to get some pictures taken!I think we were just supposed to make funny faces.

We are all oh so happy!

Waxing

Last year I went to with Ginger for my very first wax, but because I was on accutane they wouldn't let me do it. Now, I've been off of that nasty drug for a few months. I get to be in the sun and do so much more. The best part of the drug is that I now have pretty skin. :D
When I got done with taking pictures my roommate asked if I wanted to try waxing. Of course I did! It wasn't that painful, I actually love the results.
One, two, THREE!
All done.

Fun Photos

It's been raining up in Rexburg for the past few weeks like crazy! I couldn't help but take out my camera and snap a few shots. Enjoy! This is the favorite picture I took that day.

Our tennis courts were flooded for a while.
And of course Rexburg wouldn't be Rexburg with out the temple.

Elder Eyring

Up here at BYU-Idaho we have devotionals every Tuesday. This semester we had the opportunity to have Elder Eyring come up and speak with us. It was so COOL! Nah, cool isn't the right word, it was amazing. (Don't tell mom and dad) I skipped my ballroom class to stand in line so I could get a half way decent seat. Too bad it wasn't the best, but hey I was able to here from a prophet of God, right here at my University. I never did get to shake hands with him, but I was able to get some okay pictures. Enjoy.
If you look to the very far left, that is Elder Eyring's son. Ginger and I had him as our stake president last year.
Can you see how packed it was in the Hart? All the way up to the very top.
Thank you Elder Eyring for coming to BYU-Idaho.

Love All

I was in a tennis tournament here at BYU-Idaho. It was so fun! I grew so much in my tennis skills. I played doubles with one of my best friends Sarah. We won our first game 6-4, 6-3 (or something like that). Then the second set of people we played, we lost 5-7, 2-6. It was just fine by me though, the chick on the other team had the most powerful serve I have ever played up here in Idaho. She was nice and didn't once have an attitude, her partner on the other hand was . . .different. Here are just some fun pictures of us.
Darn I missed that one! Right down my ally.
Check that out! Perfect back hand, my daddy taught me how to do that!
That's my partner. She's pretty much amazing. I'm just chillin' up at the net.
And that one ladies and gentlemen is out!

College Care

Black and Blue Bag
Ginger had this blue bag that I really, really wanted. I asked if it would be okay if she had a "light tan" (name that movie!) bag with pink flowers rather than a black bag with blue flowers. She said okay and mailed the black and blue bag up. When I opened it up there was all of these college goodies! It was so awesome! Thanks Ginger! I love the bag the rest of the little goodies! I can't wait till July when I can help you move in (hmm maybe I can wait ;).

Visiting

Here is a cute picture of mom and me in my floral design class, I loved her arrangement more than mine.
Mom and dad came up to Rexburg to visit me a few weeks ago. It was fun to go out to Idaho Falls with mom driving (she missed the exit so many times), playing tennis (they were kissing it front of Rob! EW! Oh and mom said, "We were just showing Rob how it was done."), going out to eat, meeting the boyfriend (okay so maybe it wasn't fun, more stressful if you ask me) and going to the rock museum (which I swore that I would never go into there ever again!). I loved having them here! Who knows, maybe the next time they come up, it will be for a graduation.

Brownie Girls

I'm not entirely sure why, but my roommates and I always have fun dressing up. One particular day we all decided to wear brown shirts and blue jeans. This is the only "good" picture that turned out.

Notice we have pictures of the prophets right behind us. No Butts About It
Not sure why, but we wanted to do a butt picture. Or um bottom picture. Funny thing, Eliza (the girl on the far right) ripped her jeans (right where her hand is) and didn't know it till we took the pictures. Good thing she found out before she went on her date that night.

Grandma Fish

Grandma Fish needed a ride up to Idaho, it was on the way back to school so I said, "Yes!" It was fun to hear some stories of her and grandpa when they went down to the Philippines, or how they first met and she was only 13 or 14 years old (correct me if I'm wrong). I love my Grandma Fish and am very glad I had the opportunity to spend time with her, even it was only a few hours.

Pretty Pictures

I was just walking through the gardens up here and couldn't help but take a few snap shots. Enjoy.

This picture (I personally thought it was fun to take) is a reflection of water. The border or the outside of the picture is a rock and the inside is a puddle of water.

"Me and My Teddy Bear"

After Yellow Stone my class stopped by a live bear and wolf museum. My favorite part was seeing the live birds. Each bird had a different story on why they couldn't be released back into the wild.Don't eat me! I didn't do it! (Don't tell the workers, but there was a sign on the statue saying, "Please do not climb on.")
Rar!
Mom and dad, I wanna doggie!
I spy with my little eyes three wolves.
This little owl got caught in a wind storm and was hit by a car.
Ha, this one is funny. This owl got knocked out of his nest when he was a chick. He was raised by humans. He has no interest in female owls . When it's mating season he'll save a mouse and bring it to the people who work there. All in all, he doesn't know he's an owl.

I can't remember the story behind this hawk, I just remember that his wing was hurt.

Yellow Stone

Geeser and I (Continue reading . . .)
Self portrait! Pretty good if you ask me!
Hey look! Guess what that is? Old Faithful!
The sun was breaking the surface of another Yellow Stone misty morning.
Look it's a baby buffalo with the mommy! I even saw one giving birth on the side of the road. Cool huh?
So, this is a funny short story. I pulled a Gingerism. On the way up to Yellow Stone, the whole van (except the driver) took naps. When we got up to the entrance, the informational map was given to me and people asked me to read what was on it. Now, remember this is Jackie just waking up from a deep nap. I was reading about the geysers and mixed up the word with geesers. Yes, I did graduate from high school.
It's my class. We sure do know how to have fun!
